Landlord saying he will refund us part of last month's rent instead of us paying him prorated amtMid-month we gave 30 days notice after living in our apt for a year and half, which means that our last day will be the 12th of the month. Our landlord has said that we need to pay him for the full month at the beginning of the month and and he will refund us the difference with the security deposit. So far he has been a good landlord, very responsive, but it still seems odd that he is asking us to pay 31 days of rent instead of the 12 days that we will be in the apartment and then we need to wait for him to repay us. Can he request this? Also, we gave him a very large security deposit plus pet deposit at move in.February 28 2011 - Adams Point00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
