Can a moderator on this board tell me if there is a limit to the number of characters in the Message field of new topics. I just tried to post a new topic and it kept showing me that I needed to fill in a required area and then ate part of my text in the message field. Note, I filled out both the Subject and Message fields.

If there is a character limit - can that amount be added to the topic page so we are aware?

I have not had any problem with mine, and some were lengthy. I have seen many that cover almost the whole page.

Mine seems to have a character limit. I've also read posts from one of the real estate agents who gets half of his cut off.

It was a shame, since I wanted to know the end of the stories he was telling (about nutsy clients and so forth) but he must not have noticed it cut it off after he posted, because the rest is not filled in.

Good question! 1655 - There's a 1655 character limit on the Message field.
