We have represented many buyers that live in Lincoln Highlands and they are quite happy with the community. The sinle family detached homes average from $400,000 to $700,000.

Average price in that area really depends on the kind of home you are looking for. If you are looking at sold homes, I would say it's approx..$550K - $650K. As realtors, it is unethical to say weather an area is safe or not. We can say that this is a very desirable location and there is plenty to do weather you like walking or riding. The average sold price this year was about 629K.The low end was 430K.
I live in that area, and am in contract on a property now, and will have a new listing available there soon. Some of the house more up the hioll have views. There is also an area where there are small investment properties (like triplexes and fourplexes).
I think it is safe, but that is a personal issue. Why don't you go walk there in the early evening and find out what you think yourself.
The area is very accessible to 580 and 13. It is very close to the park on Joachin , and in Dimond. On skyline you can park and ride your bike.
The dimond district ( next door), has a Farners Joe, a CVS, a peets, a la farine, etc.Good shopping. YOu could alos go to the redwood plaza for a safeway.
