p.s. It can also be argued that things like a local ice cream maker add to the general appeal of a locale. I won't bother making that argument, but I'm fairly sure that is why the "Local Topics" forum contains a place for discussions like this.

location, location, location........personally, easy access to dining, shopping, art, and theater was a must-have when I looked for my current house. Here in Hendersonville, NC, during the Autumn apple festival the local ice cream shop makes an apple-pecan-toffee sundae topping that borders on being to die for.

Everyone goes to our local ice cream parlor. It is a great place to chat with neighbors and friends. The ice cream is pretty yummy so that puts everybody in a good mood.
