Live Near Your Work (LNYW)

The Live Near your Work program provides employees with a grant towards the purchase of a home near your place of employment. Participating employers will provide $1000.00 grant to eligible employee to purchase a home within a 3-mile radius of the employees workplace. The state of Delaware and local jurisdiction will also provide $1000.00 matching grants. This will give homebuyers $3000.00 towards the purchase of a home.

What a great program. I wish that other cities and states would consider it as a way to build communities and reduce commute times. Thanks for posting it. It makes me wish I lived in DE.
