Location

I am moving from Arkansas with a job in Carrollton. I have one child in Middle school and one in Elementary. My wife takes care of the family and patiently deals with the administration & operations of the home while I take care of funding the household expenses and repair/maintenance of home & cars. Its an old fashion but consensual set up and works really well for all of us. We want a home in a town where schools are good, community is friendly and being your own family's caretaker not a tabboo just because you don't "work" outside for someone else. We are financially secured thanks to our inheritence but would prefer a neighborhood where keeping up with Jonses isn't a must. Our price range is $400,000 to $900,000. We need a 5 bedroom/ 4 bath house within five minutes driving distance of park, shopping, elementary school and a highway. Stellar public schools are very important to us. Can you recommend a town that best meets our requirements. Peace to all!
