Long distance commuter looking for investment / affordable place to stay in Newark

Looking to invest in a coop or condo, possibly in downtown Newark. This would need to be close to the Path train.

It seems prices are way down and I could get something affordable ~100-120k range (or less). I'm also open to two bedroom with a potential roommate situation.

What should I expect in terms of taxes and co-op maintenance? Looking to estimate what my total monthly expense will be.
