Why did this property go up by 10% when it is smaller than mine and within the same vicinity.  In addition, it recently sold for $300K

Please keep in mind that Zillow only produces a "Zestimate" and if you are looking for an accurate market value of your home you really should contact a local agent that is familiar with the area you are in!  In order to get you a truly accurate value the agent needs to be sure to only compare your home to others like it in similar neighborhoods.  Take a look around Zillow and I am sure you can find an agent with high presence that specializes in Johnston.  Good Luck!
