I see several on your website listed with prices of $1500, etc.
Some of these are in pre-foreclosure. What is the meaning of the low price? How can I find out the real asking prices?
Thanks,
Todd Weaver

Hi Todd,  There are presently 4 single family detached houses available in San Juan for less than $300k, including one priced at $240k.  Those are the lowest priced detached houses on the market, in the area, currently in the MLS.

Any prices lower than those are either a lease - and you're seeing the monthly rate - or you might be seeing a property in a mobile home park.

Let me know if you'd like more information on the area.  I'm very familiar with San Juan, having lived there, off and on over the past 40 years.

Usually when there are ridiculously low asking prices on internet sites like Zillow, it is because the price is a rental price that hasn't transferred properly  and the agent didn't bother to proof the info at the destination.

How can you figure this out?  On the property details page, you'll find the listing website at the very bottom.   Click on it.  Sometimes it clarifies the situation.

Meanwhile, you can filter out these bogus listings by setting a minimum price in your search so you don't waste your time.  Of course, you could also use an agent.
