You will need the lenders approval to complete the lot line adjustment and make it a part of your legal description. The lender should grant an approval as it should improve their security and not cause any loss in security. When a final map is drawn up it will be sent to the lender for signature before recording. The same goes for your neighbor if he has a loan on the property. Finding the correct department with the lender could be a challenge. Start making some phone calls. Good Luck

Lot Line adjustment
I have a home that has a mortgage on it. And my neighbour is willing to sell some part of his land to me. So we will make a lot line adjustment. Will this going to cause any problem on my mortgage? Does the lender has right to stop me buying that piece and merge that lot to my houses lot? And how will the process on the lender site will go?
Thanks
