The best way to compare is to call some local lenders. With the new regulations companies must give the borrower any premium over the par rate. However, some companies do charge more for underwriting and processing, as well as other fees. Even the APR does not truly give you the whole picture. You should call around and see what the total closing costs are with no points. You can even give me a call if you would like. Best of luck!

Another way of phrasing my question is, "Is there a way to enable HARP rate comparison on the Zillow lender comparison feature?"
The Zillow personalized refinance quote returned precisely one lender option given my input for refinance amount ($195k) versus home value ($165k). It seems that there should be more options than a single lender given my risk profile.

Lots of sites compare rates, but is there one that compares HARP (LTV > 105%) refinance rates/fees?
I have excellent credit (740+), have not made a late payment on my current loan (7 years of timely payments), do not need a jumbo program ($195k or so), and have an LTV of 115-120%, depending on the appraisal. I've been looking high and low, but have not encountered a place that allows for reliable comparison of rates and fees for people looking to refinance under HARP. Does anyone know of a place where such a comparison could be made?
