Manufactured home is one that is built by using pre-assembled rooms that are put together at the building site. They are not made from foundation up, portions of the home are built in a factory, sent to the lot, and put together on a premade foundation. This type of housing is becoming popular in Europe because owners to be can have rooms prepainted or bathrooms preinstalled with their desired fixture choices.
