Median Prices Up For First Time in Seven Months

The Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) reports that median home prices were up in April for the first time since September 2011. Single-family home sales increased again compared to the same time last year for the tenth straight month.

Does not mean anything - this could have happened because there were more higher priced (newer or larger) homes that sold so move the median up.

Shame on those who misrepresent the meaning of a statistic.
