About 35% of those military scheduled to move from Texas to COS have been stood down. This was part of the expected influx of military to the area. What impact will this have on house sales?

In other words, I won't answer the simple question about supply and demand effects on the market that you asked...

And this is 4 months later...

You are correct, less people moving somewhere lowers demand, and would be expect to be a negative, or at least the decrease of a positive to equilibrium price.

Colorado Springs is a busy town. People coming and going all the time.
I've seen the first time tax credit more of a help than anything.
Now they made a new tax credit.
When the seller sells a home they've lived in 5 of the last 8 years, and buys another home, they can get up to $6,500 when they buy their new primary home.
If your home is priced right, it will sell.
