Mixed Zestimates

Profile picture for jrsimo
I have a quick question.  I have been eying a house before it was on the market the zestimate was 156,000 or 158,000 i actually have a print out of it.  Once the house was on the market they dropped it into the 130's.  Why does it first off not show that price in the zestimate graph for the last year and why is it that it dropped so much and that you don't show the 158,000 on the chart for two months ago?  Thank you

On June 13th, Zillow rolled out a new algorithm for calculation of the Zestimates.   At the same time (with additional historical data), they revised the historical calculations from 2006 forward.   You can find more in the FAQs.
