Don't be discouraged. Here's a future tip. I tell my teenager that I'm her 24/7 personal assistant. That way she
thinks she's in control. But in reality, I am, as she has to
ask to borrow MY car. :) Seriously though, just keeping communication lines open keeps everyone happy around here.

Either of those times work for us so I will plan on being here during those times.
I'm so discouraged now....I would have thought that by the time my kids are teenagers, my life would be a little bit more predictable. :)

Sunday works for me. I probably can make it by about 10:15 am or after 12:15 am. I have a teenager and she works in DanishTown and has to be at work by noon on Sunday, and I'm her chauffeur.
Don't apologize about the short time frames, I totally understand about children's upredictable schedules. Pssst, let
me tell you a secret: teenagers can be even more unpredictable, but no less loveable!
Just let me know by Saturday evening, if something comes up with your kids, and the times I mentioned won't work for you.

I appreciate your detailed response to my questions. And I agree with you-- the Ballard Canyon neighborhood is special. I also appreciate the builder's quality construction. My only regret is I wished we had bought a home in your neighborhood nearly 5 years ago when we moved to California.
I would be interested in looking at your home. How would we accomplish setting up an appointment for a showing? I don't feel comfortable putting my email address here in my answer. And I don't want to post my phone number either. I only have your address, but certainly don't want to just show up at your front door. But I do get Zillow alerts when questions I post are answered. Hello,
No, our home is currently not listed on the MLS, and have never been on the market. However, we are interested in selling our home sometime soon if we have an offer for the right price. The real estate market is softening so that is why we have not listed it on the MLS. If you are interested in looking our house, I would be more than happy to show it.
What I love about our home is the floorplan and the lot. I, as well as most of our neighbors feel that our particular open floor plan with a gated courtyard is the best in the neighborhood. It appeals to both families with young children and older people. It has a great flow. I love the fact that all the bedrooms are on one wing of the house and the family room and the kitchen are on the other. Our lot is quiet and peaceful. Even though we do have neighbors behind us, it looks as if we don't. They have a very large and deep lot so their house is set back quite a bit from our backyard.
What will sadden me the most if I leave the neighborhood is all the amazing friends I've made within our neighborhood. There's a great support system here. I know that if there was anything I needed, I can always count on my neighbors for help. The Ballard Canyon neighborhood is very special because it's a small community with only 36 homes. It's very quiet peaceful. The only traffic in the neighborhood is from the actual people that live here. It's also very close to all the ammenities so it's very convenient.
