Mortgage Deduction for "self-employed" individual paying quarterly taxesI am currently "self employed" (actually a scientist paid through a fellowship) and pay my estimated taxes quarterly. I will be purchasing a home soon, and was wondering if I can apply the Mortgage Interest Deduction (and any other associated homeowner tax benefits) to my quarterly estimated tax payments, or do I have to wait until I file my annual return to get the deduction?May 08 2012 - Columbia00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
