I actually think consumers can see through the sanctimonious drivel that is repeatedly blathered on here in a not so veiled attempt at self promotion. If I was browsing this site, looking at these threads, I would gravitate to someone who was passionate and honest even if they were controversial. I would pick someone who offers more than just empty rhetoric and catch phrases.
Keep those reviews rolling in Jonathan, you are the man!

If you are saying that at times lenders don't exhibit a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace. I would agree and I am one of the bigger offenders of this definition. then again I don't work on Zillow so technically it is not my workplace.
Call me crazy but I would rather work with someone that was characterized by or conforming to the technical or ethical standards of a profession than someone that is polite but doesn't know the technical or is willing to compromise the ethical standards of the business they are in.
guys, he's just mad at me for picking on him (yet again) about his poorly written self-reviews. It's not a big deal anymore- as we've discovered that reviews mean very little... but still, own up to it Jonathan and then we'll stop picking on you!

Phew!!! didn't know Jonathans reviews would ....be.......such.......good....... reading. Must not have had much help or he could have had about 5 more helpful wonderful knowledgeable wild and crazy guy reviews. Phew!!!!!!!!!! Jonathan, lets nominate you for ..lets see what should we nominate you for.... maybe martin would let us name you peep L/O of the month..no youre not that good..peep L/O of the week..no -- i got it --peep of the day! You are correct. Great reading there. Apparently Jonathan is the best thing since sliced bread. What amazes me most is how so many of his clients spelled Jonathan as Jonathon. Must be a very common mistake since the a and the o keys are so close together.
I guess he was really serious about asking the question "What happened to professionalism among mortgage lenders". He really doesn't know the answer, if onlyhe would look in the mirror, he could see that its not there where he is concerned. He doesn't have idea what happened to it cause he is living proof of not having any (professionalism)
It's been a good day rooting out some of these goofballs that take our profession so lightly.

I'm really glad that Jonathan reccomended that those looking for mortgages should pay close attention to who they deal with. I would reccomend that they stay away from a LO who can only earn business by fabricating fake reviews. If they are willing to shamelessly lie about that kind of stuff do you really want them handling your mortgage?
Jonathan - who would you "RECCOMEND" as a professional and what qualifies? Would HONESTY be one of the characteristics?

I recommend that you stop saying recommend. It's a dead give away that you made the reviews yourself.
One bright spot is that you finally know how to spell it correctly.
Jonathan- each reviewer that had the word 'recommend' in their review spelled it 'r e c c o m e n d'. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but there is NO way 4 people ALL spell the word incorrectly on the same page...
And for the record, my lone review was unsolicited. I would NEVER ask someone to review me until the deal is closed... I don't see what the point is to be honest... If the deal isn't done, their opinion can change. Why would I want a review after basic contact???

What happend to professionalism among mortgage lenders? I can't help but noticing so many LO's acting like children on the message boards.
My advice to anyone is this..... If you receive a quote from a lender- surf the discussion board for a little while and see if they have posted anything... You get a good idea of what an individual is really like when you see what they post on these forums.
