My Estimate Tool temporarily unavailable for editsWe are doing some work to improve the "My Estimate" tool and hope to have it back up soon. If you previously created a "My Estimate," it will still be there, you just won't be able to edit it for now.In the meantime, homeowners can and should continue to update their home facts. Some home facts can directly affect the home's Zestimate. Also, we'd like to remind you that a homeowner who has claimed their home on Zillow can leave a Zestimate Comment. We'll let you know as soon as the MyEstimate tool is back up!-So you don't have to sort. Here is the update: We've changed the Owner Comment section:The text now says Owner Estimate instead of Owner Comment. When a user clicks on "Post your own estimate," They will be directed to a page with three sections. The first section has a field for your estimate: "Your estimate of this home value"The next section gives the owner an opportunity to share the source of the estimate. The three choices are:Own KnowledgeHome AppraisalComparative Market AnalysisThe last section is an "additional comments" section where the owner can describe how they come up with their estimate. This new owner estimate section will be available at all times whether the home is for sale or not. If the home is for sale, the agent can still add an agent comment about the value.Previous owner comments were imported into the new format.June 14 2011 - US11YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
