When Zillow rolled out their new alogrithm June 13, it quickly became obvious to users that there were some bugs including some properties with large spikes in the historical graphs. (One of the properties I used to own shows a spike to 2.8 million back while i owned it although I sold it for 20% of that value.) The Zestimate team is very aware of these spikes and other issues and is working hard to identify the causes.
But, last I heard they were happy for examples of Zestimate crazies. You can E-mail your Example to customer service at this E-mail. (I don't work for Zillow, so have no idea of their timeline for rolling out the update of the update, but guess it is in the weeks to months timeframe).

The house is 14 Sorento Blvd, Hanahan SC - the zestimate spikes up to $500,000 every few years from a more normal value of $200,000. Obviously the value of the house did not have that kind of variance so there's something odd going on there. Just wondered if there was some official channel to request that zillow fixes the error.

Could you expand a little bit on why it appears to be historically inaccurate?

My home's zestimate is clearly historically inaccurate - is there a way to have this corrected?
