My home is now for sale on the MLS through a broker, will Zillow update to show it for sale?

I Agree, Internet Marketing is a very important skill for a listing agent. Your agent should be adding your home for sale on Zillow and other major real estate websites.

If they are not, ask them why not.

Your agent is in control.   Ask:

1.  Does their MLS syndicate with Zillow?   If so, how long does it usually take between having it active on the MLS in your community and appearing on Zillow?

2. If the agent's MLS does not syndicate with Zillow, what approach does the agent take to get their listings on non-MLS sites such as Zillow, and when does it happen?

Savy internet marketing is a critical skill for  listing agents, so I hope your agent does a good job for you.
