A pool normally adds about $30K in value... so is probably not an "investment" factor... but is nice to soak up the sun in the backyard meanwhile!

I agree with miamism, though we are taught that is if most of the homes in the immediate area already have pools, it does not actually add very much value, but brings you in line with other homes around you. If they do not, it will add some value, but you will not recoup the expenses to build it and relandscape.

Unfortunately, the price you will pay for the construction of a pool will not equate to that amount in value added to the property, but you would make your property more marketable. We also live and work in Miami Shores and would be more than happy to explain further.
