First find out what the selling price is by calling the phone # that is posted on the sign and also to make sure the property is still for sale. once you know what the asking price is and if it's in your budget then get pre-approve by a lender if you are going to finance the loan. Then call back the agent make an appointment to meet and take the pre-approval letter with you so that the agent have proof you are qualify for a mortage and they will then put your offer in writing and present it to the seller.
First, where are you located and where is the home located? Is the home listed for sale? If so then, basically, you need to get pre qualified for a loan to purchase a home through your bank, a mortgage broker can assist you or if you have cash then you can move into a contract right away.
