If you feel your score is low...ask a lender about the rapid rescore program. This program will give you step by step instructions to getting you score up in a matter of days.....It may be called something different in another state.

Depending upon how much he receives, what other debts he has and how strong his credit is he could possibly qualify. If not a lease with option or land contract may be another route to explore. Have you had any luck as of yet? If not please you can email me at RerhiTheRealtor@gmail.com although I am not close to Battle Creek I have an awesome loan officer who could at least guide you through the process.
Good Luck

You will need to speak to a lender. He/she will need to look at your credit report, gross income and other debts to determine your eligibility.

If you are in the area and you know of a 4bedroom house for rent in the pennfield or lakeview area up to 700 a month.

My husband gets SSI and he is the head of household. is that enough to buy our first house?
