My modification took 9 months not because of us it was our mortgage co. now we have a tax debt?

I have read of provisions on this issue in 2009 but can not find that this was taken into account with the loan modifications. Can you help?

Often on a Refi, the tax escrow account is closed, and a new one opened, thus skipping one tax payment.

You didn't pay that money yet, so just send it in and be done with it.
