My neighbour and I have exactly the same house. Why does zillow estimate show a 25,000 difference?

My main concern is they property still shows appreciation while mine has not changed ( and depreciated tiny bit).

Due to the fact that you are the third owners, there has probably been reassessments done and you should compare / check your taxes.  If they are different it could impact on Zillow's appraisal etc.....

Thank you very much for the answers. I guess its jus the way it is.

Jonathan, I live in a cookie cutter like construction. So the plot and house are very same.

Will sale of a property depreciate its value?. We are the 3rd owner's of the house and they are the orginal owners.

As with any automated system there will be differences we can't explain.  The 'Zestimate' is an estimate, not based on a personal inspection of the property.  Contact a LOCAL real estate agent and ask for a comparable market analysis, as well as neighbohood trends over the last 12 months.

The most common causes of varying zestimates are due to lot size and home square footage.
