NJ STATE TAX LIENI live in NJ and have a $10K state tax lien for overpayment of unemployment benefits. The overpayment occured in the late 90's and the lien is dated 2004. The lein is only on my Transunion report, not on any other CRA or Lexis Nexis report. Last month I was pre-approved for a mortgage and the Weichert loan specialist did not mention the lien. Will the lien prevent me from obtaining a mortgage?April 29 2012 - Edison00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
