The hardest part about NACA is the time line. It can take quite awhile to get someone approved.  Stay involved in the advice that they give.  They told one of my clients to pay off EVERYTHING, which resulted in no trade lines. The NACA process was taking so long that when they tried to get an FHA loan, the lack of trade lines caused them to be denied.

I know people who have gone through Naca here in Columbia. It takes time and work on the part of the individual entering the program, but it can be quite beneficial.
