A zestimate is a good indication but it has a large margin of error. In other words, don't take it as an absolute figure. Instead get a real estate agent or a Realtor to do a market analysis for you. If you are going to refinance, then let the lender do it with their appraiser.

The current Zillow zestimate is $278,000. To get a more accurate estimate, call a Realtor do a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis). You can hire a appraiser to do an appraisal, but an appraisal costs about $400&if you're going to sell or refi, banks want their own appraisal. If you're thinking of selling, suggest you interview a few Realtors.
