A commision of almost 1/4 of a million $!
The realtor claimed that he would make up for it in "negotiations".
My husband told the realtor we could "make up for it in negotiations right now." He stood up and showed the agent the door.
We sold ourselves. Paid an attorney $1K to write the contract and bought a boat and sent a kid to Vanderbilt with the savings.
