How do you like the neighborhood? Are there any good coffee shops, bookstores or other fun places within walking distance?

If you are interested in the property, it would make it worth your while to go and take a look at the property, location, the drive to and from work, the neighborhood, nearby shopping, etc...

The neighborhood is good. Pretty quiet. It's about .5 mile walk to Juanita Beach, a park once a bit run down, but now on the upswing, as is the general area of Juanita. It has a nice boardwalk and new kids play area, as well as lots of shady trees you can lay on the grass under. Right across the street is our famous Spud's Fish and Chips, an espresso hut, a very good Indian restaurant and a kind of rowdy looking bar that I have not frequented as of yet. :) You can also walk to the new Juanita Village, a collection of apartment homes, a Starbucks with a large seating area, a sushi restaurant, a thai restaurant, a mexican restaurant, a dog wash, about 3 hair salons and a Walgreen's. A bit further up the road is a charming boardwalk over an estuary, with benches. You can walk there and see the beavers, herons, eagles, all kinds of water fowl, I even saw a tiny turtle once. That was exciting but the giant, ancient beaver that gave me the once over a couple years ago takes the cake. He had to be 80lbs - is that possible? :) From the estuary, you can walk into a park (not sure of the name, it was formerly a golf course, it's grassy, as one might expect, but also has 2 or 3 piers or boardwalks jutting out into the estuary there.
