Realtors,
Are you ready to start paying to have customers contact you through Zillow? Ready to have your contact info removed? Zillow's new policy for lenders has all contact info removed and if a borrower initiates contact for further info, lender gets charged.
Guess who might be next????

Clarification: Zillow is removing phone numbers, e-mail addresses etc so borrowers cannot reach lenders directly. Borrowers will only be able to initiate contact thru Zillow, which will result in a charge for a query that may or may not turn into actual business.

The realtors don't care because they don't have to pay...yet. As usual, they can just coast on the system for free and keeping complaining to try to get the Zestimate removed from just their listings.

When introduced, Zillow did advertise a "one time charge" of $25 for background check. The profiles all allow any information people want to post, so I'm baffled about the additional charges and believe that makes it "false advertising".

SO, did any of the lenders save copies of those screen images for the "intitial sign up"?
