New to Zillow - once original 60 day listing is over, can I relist on Zillow if my home hasn't sold?

Hi Emily,

Yes you can re-list it. It is harder and does take longer if you are doing it on your own because it doesn't get all of the advertising that an agent has access to. If priced right with an agent most of the time it should sell withing 30-45 days.

If you list on Zillow as a FSBO, you can renew it at the end of the 60 day period and there continues to be no charge.   The reason for the limited listing period is so that stale listings don't clutter the site as many people forget to remove them when the property has sold or is off the market.

Hi Emily,

If 60 days was the length of your listing agreement than yes, you can list on Zillow.  Do you have any idea why it didn't sell?  This is such a great market I'm surprised to hear that.

If you are choosing to list it your self please be careful.  The liability on the seller is great and the last thing you want is to have an arbitration or small claims issue.

Good luck on what ever you decide! :)
