It looks like surfcaster took a screenshot from the Bird's eye view imagery. Cool idea, so I just added another view looking west. Check it out.

Some years there is a sandbar out about 30 yards off shore that makes a nice break when it's big enough. So, yes, it's surfable. However, there's always a great break at Ditch Plains in Montauk which is about a 10 minute drive.

Our architect is Larry Randolph. (631) 324-9342 He's fantastically talented and a super guy to work with.
