Northstar MLS has rental listings how does zillow address this?

Profile picture for phessling
The Northstar MLS now lists rental properties.  A rental listing was imported to zillow through an automated feed; however, Zillow shows it as a "for sale" property.  Can this be changed to indicated that the price reflected is a monthly lease price?

Then this listing source needs to edit their coding to tell us that properties are rentals and not for sale in the code they send us.

You can direct them to me for help.  Or all they need to do is update the Status section of the code.  It should be <Listing Status = For Rent>.

Hey Sara from Zillow here.  First let's confirm your listing is MLS sourced.  If you go to it, and scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see Listing Source: COMPANY NAME.

The automated feed probably needs adjustment, and that feed is likely through your Broker, not through the Minnesota MLS.  Zillow does not pick up every Twin Cities MLS listing, only a small fraction of them, because the Twin Cities Realtors MLS (Called the Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota, aka Northstar MLS) doesn't have an agreement with Zillow.

You may want to contact them via their contact pages vs. here - this is mostly read by other agents and a few consumers.
