You want to get a real estate agent who can give you a true number base on the condition and location of the property.

Thank you very much.
The home is question is 904, Bradley St, North Brunswick NJ, I have offered the price as it appears on Zillow ( 318K), though it was listed for (339K)

Hard to say. Here is the 10 year chart. It could go back to 2002 based on other charts I've seen for other areas closer to bottoming, but it really depends on local housing supply, local job base, historical growth and buyer demand. Other areas that have fallen to 2002 have been significantly overbuilt and had many jobs related to construction that dried up.
Study your market and see if you think the base is healthy or not. If it's healthy and in demand, I think maybe you'll see early 2004 prices, but that's just a guess. Your market benefitted from the buyers credit by a fair percentage. You can see the bump on the chart so consider that in your offer strategy too.

Not sure how low the prices of homes in North Brunswick will go? Hard to make an offer. Any inputs?
