What I'm hearing is that it has zero chance of passing congress and that it's more of a political maneuver to paint Republicans as insensitive. I really don't know about that, but I would keep an ear out. You never know in an election year.

That's really too bad. I hope it does pass congress - I know there are many people out there who could really use the help. It doesn't seem right that the public should suffer just because our leaders want to try to make each other look bad.
