It has been requested multiple times, but they still have not revised the database to support the look up, nor added the additional filter.

We keep "hoping".  Perhaps if they higher more programmers?

In the mean time, you can use the "keyword filter", and search for such words as "ranch", or the phrase "single story" (in quotes)...  You will need to do multiple searches as Realtors describe such things with different words in the description.
