York Brand is an excellent choice.

If you go with gas..Buy a 90+ furnance, they have a variable speed motor and dual stage burners.  Very effiecent, all brands have the same technology.  RUUD is the best bet for your money.  I've installed hundreds of them, good product support.  Have your contractor do a pay back comparison.

I have an oil burner too&have found these guys just amazing in their knowledge & assistance.  Forum similar to this, but most of the respondents are oil burner techs.  They work on the systems day in & day out and are NOT affiliated with any certain mfg. whatsoever.

They'll let you know, straight up, what's the best bang for the buck & what is way over rated.

A couple pages into it, you'll get to the forums.  Good luck!
