Our home is on Zilow and we are using an agent...the price is incorrect. How does this get updated?

Tell your agent to use www.postlets.com to data entry your listing. This website is owned by Zillow and it is free for agents to market their listings.

Besides Zillow, your listings will be posted on Trulia.com, YahooRealEstate, and many others if your agent takes a minute to post it on postlets.com.

It will increase your exposure tenfold and give you a much better chance of getting the offer you are looking for.

If your agent is advertising it on Zillow then he/she should be able to immediately update and enhance your home on Zillow. Otherwise, the first 2 answers cover the general issue pretty well.

I advertise or used paid enhancement for listings on many web sites including Zillow as I feel it is more effective and certianly greener than print as primary advertising.

Unless your agent directly inputs the listings into Zillow, it seems to take a few days for many of the real estate websites to pick up the changes made in MLS, if picked up at all.

Some websites "sweep" for data updates, it is not instantaneous.  These sites often are not in direct contact with the agent.

Yes, I've tried to modify my listings on the big Z, but so far, not much luck.

You need to contact your listing agent.  Your agent inputs all the info on the MLS which then gets imported by Zillow.
