Real estate is a local market and only an agent in your local area can provide you with an accurate estimate of the possible sales price of your home. "Zestimates" are just that - a sight-unseen guess from an internet company with no knowledge of your LOCAL market. I suggest you contact a local reputable agent and have them do a comoparative market analysis of your home based on a personal tour and local comparables.

Gary, it is not unusual for the zestimate to be "way off". It is only a "mathematical algorithm"......ie - a computer generated number based on the gathering of public information.
No one from zillow will contact you in regard to changing it.
Zillow will also (most likely) not make any adjustments to the number no matter how nicely you ask.....or what your town assessment is........or whether you have a new roof!
Your only option is to "claim" your home, and make sure all the factual information is correct ( # of bathooms, bedrooms, etc)........you can also leave some comments regarding updates, if you wish, but they will not make a bit of difference regarding the final number.
Correcting incorrect information MAY help improve the number, but it will take weeks or months before you see a difference.
Bottom line...........don't worry about it.
It's a zillow "thing" and does not carry over into the real world of buying or selling a home.
While seeing an incorrect number can be, and is, very upsetting and frustrating, know that agents never pay any attention to zestimates..nor do buyers who are serious about making an offer..
Best wishes........
