Board of Tax assessors went through our home and then raised our homes assessed value in March of 2011 from 229,000 to 269,900. This is why I am concerned with the amount you have on our home. Quite a bit of improvements. We did new energy efficient furnace and ac., new roof, siding, professionaly landscaped, new deck, patio, ceramic tile floors, new carpet, and had all of the woodwork in the house refinished. It is absolutely beautiful and they we impressed when they were seen it. Shouldn't this bring with there increase in value our price up on zillow???? Thank you for your help. Jan

If you have done substantial remodeling, claim your home on Zillow and update the data. Zestimates are calculated off the core facts of the home and don't reflect upgrades and some other features (such as views) that may add value except through the tax assessments. Of course, we all know the tax assessors want as much money as possible so their number may not be fair either!
Our value of our home is not updated with you??
