There are some companies that do a tremendous job with stamped concrete. This would be a happy medium and give you the look of brick paver without the big hit to your wallet. Best of luck in either route that you go!

Permeable paver systems, maybe.

do what ever keeps you in line with the neighborhood... never over spend for looks unless you just love it and can't live without it... you may never make your money back...

Hi,
Do you have a lot of cracking or settling in your area?
Factor into your choice the cost, and how long you are planning to own the home. A paver can give nice curb appeal.
All the best,
Arpad

Which ever you don't mind doing taking care of. Nothing is worse than uneven/cracks or weeds in the driveway. What does your house look like?

It really can depend on the weather. Concrete can be an issue in our area because of the four seasons

We went with a reputable contractor and we love it! We did put a number of bricks in an area where it can get sunlight just in case. This weekend my husband will be putting the sealer on it. I couldn't have asked for a nicer look to our home. We hope in the next few years to match the pattern in the rear of our house for our patio and arbor area. (You won't believe how many cars stop and tell us how great it looks!)

It really depends on you, some people like stamped concrete and some like pavers. Pavers are very nice and pretty but you also need to stay on top of the weeds that grow inbetween them where that is a non issue with stamped concrete. They both have similar maintenance and both can crack so I think it just depends which one you like the look of better.

Pavers are so nice, you could also do a mix of both. Paver skirt and borders with a concrete center. this looks really nice as well.

Pavers
As long as they are installed correctly, you will have none of the problems that concrete has .
How long they last has a bunch of different variables.
How much weather it sees , how well / often you seal it.
How many tree roots are going to get underneath it.
Do you actually leave your car parked on it, or just drive across it and park your car in the garage.

Go with the stamped concrete. The best of both worlds. We did.

Concrete with a stamped pattern is a great look and give the feel of paver without the settling problem. You can also get the concrete died.

After a few years and the bricks being all settled differently, you may wish you went with concrete.

As far a lasting I would talk with a General Contractor. The choice is yours, the brick pavers do give a nicer look to your home, but depending on your area will it give you your money back if you decided to sell. When you make changes to a home you always want to look at the resale aspect. Do buyers want a paver driveway? Does it add value to my home? Does it make my home stand out among the other homes that are similar to mine? Does the cost make sense? Hope this helps.
Paver driveway or concrete?
