Photo Format

My pictures of my home are in horizonal format and have been squished into a vertical format. They are wonderful pictures (I have my own photography business on-line), but when posted on this web site they look horrible when squeezed into a vertical format (they look unreal).

Since attracting potential buyers to home is often based on the pictures they see on-line, getting the photo's to look right is crucial.

I currently sell my photo's on several stock photo sites, have my own web site I have uploaded 100's of pictures to, and have never had a problem uploading pictures that looked as they should look on-line (until now). Please put some sort of instructions on-line that indicate what size/format the pictures are to be in to make them. If you will only accept pictures in a vertical format, please state that. Most of mine are in horizontal format.

You missed my point. My point is that the photos did load ok. It's how they look after they load.

Each photo is a horizontal photo squeezed into a vertical format. It's like uploading a picture of a 200 lb person and squeezing the photo so that the 200 lb person is made to look like a 125 pound person. They don't actually look like that, but that's what your photo processing does. The rooms in my house don't look like the photos processed in zillow. The photo's look wierd when squeezed like that.

What format are you advising people to put their photos in when uploading them?

How can I delete my pictures on Zillow?

I don't see any edit/delete function in my account for the pictures already loaded.

Chet -

Here's how to edit/delete photos:

1. Log-in to your account.

2. Go to the home details page (overview) of your property.

3. Click on "Add or Edit Photos" and it should lead you to a page where you can remove/edit the photos.

4. Click on "Save Changes" button.
