Please can you clarify

we own 156 whitby st Davenport 33897 and our advises us that someone has been out to take photos of our property and that it now appears as a preforeclosure on your website, as we are overseas at present we need your reassurance that this is not the case - it is not possible for us to be in preforeclosure as we do not have a loan on the property. We are obviously very concerned about this situation and need an urgent reply. Thanks [email removed by Zillow moderator]

I pulled up your address and what I see is your home and then there is a red house indicating a foreclosure with no address but the little house indicator is placed in front of your driveway. which looks a little misleading - when a person clicks on the red house it takes them to the foreclosure listing that provides generic info that doesn't appear to be yours but it does appear to be somewhere in your neighborhood.   when a person lclicks the link to show your house individually it does NOT show it to be in foreclosure so on that point....rest easy.

however, this is a frustrating issue. I don't really agree that those folks should even be able to list the foreclosure until it is DONE and listed. (but I dont' work at zillow or make the rules, i just complain when I get a chance).

I flagged your post and I flagged the foreclosure listing (rather than your address) for attention. I don't know what will become of it...but don't stress about an issue with your home and foreclosure filings.   If you are still in doubt the best thing to do is verify with the courthouse that nothing was filed on your property. there's no indication here that it was.

Oh one more thing....putting your email in the question is a bad idea. people can email you by clickign your profile and sending it through zillow without knowing the address.   I'm suggesting you request to have a moderator edit your email out of the question by flagging it yourself and choosing other.
