Aw, that was so sweet of you to post this. Did your neighbor every find their dog? There is one missing in Simi Valley, and the reward is up to $5,000. When it was at 2,000, I was pretty sure if someone found it, it would get returned. $5,000. But dogs are like our family.

hope the dog was found!!
hope the dog was found!!
I'm surprised she didn't post a photo... it is extremely easy to do.
I'm also surprised she posted someone else's personal contact info in a space that will show up on numerous Google search results. It would make more sense for someone to make contact through the user profile than to have contact information published where it might be collected for marketing spam.
I'm also surprised at digging up such an old thread to respond... but then maybe I shouldn't be surprised anymore. It seems as if one really wanted to know if the dog was found or not, they would contact the agent directly, and if one was concerned about the dog recently missing in Simi Valley, they would post a photo.

Dear Santa Rosa Valley Friends and Neighbors,
Please help us find our beloved dog! Mac is a Cairn terrier who is light brown in color (same breed as Toto in the Wizard of Oz except Toto was black). He is a neutered male that weighs around 17 pounds. He lost his collar getting out of the yard. However, he has a microchip which a unique serial number implanted under his skin. All vets and shelters have the capability to read the microchip. He went missing on December 12th. He was last seen at the Rancho Santa Rosa community center on East Las Posas Road around 4 pm. He is an extremely gregarious little guy who will turn 4 years old on New Year’s Eve. To date, he has lived a tumultuous life. He was purchased from a local pet store as a gift for an 80 year old lady. Unfortunately, the lady died only six months after receiving Mac. He was rescued by the LIFE Animal rescue group from Agoura Hills where he spent several months living in a rescue home. He has been a treasured member of our family since we adopted him in early January of 2005.
Thanks again for your help in finding Mac.
