Posting an ad

When I start building my for sale ad, can I do it over time and then decide when I want to post it publically or is it viewable as soon as I start or finish?  In other words, can I take my time putting it together and view myself before it goes public?

Once posted can I  edit it at any time and take it down any time?

Thanks,
mark.

Mark,

Actually, if you really take your time, beyond fifteen minutes or so the page will time out on you, and you will lose everything. It's best to save at no longer than fifteen minutes, and go back and edit. Unfortunately, the saving will post it viewable to the public at whatever point you stop. I would be prepared to go back and finish it, rather than leaving it for an extended time, then going back in to edit it.

You would think that preparing the description on a word processor and then copying and pasting it in would be a good idea. However, I saw where someone was having a problem doing that, and one of the mods told the poster that s/he should be doing the "save" thing instead.
