Speculation continues to run rampant about where the President & First Lady will live come January 2009. The New York Times gossip column saying they'll live in Preston Hollow and their description of Preston Hollow (mountains & golf club views) is about as accurate as most of the speculation.
The agents really in the know aren't talking because the folks in black suits have said to keep quiet. Not a request, a requirement. And if you've met those guys, you know they're serious.
The only accurate information so far is that it will be Preston Hollow. We'll have to wait for the actual closing before the address is revealed. That should happen any day now.
Some place close to a corner liquor store, where he can no doubt drink himself into a mindless stupore and forget about the missery inflicted upon this country from the 8 years of his crass dictatorship.
By January 22nd Bush will have left the country.

President Bush could buy in Dallas' Preston Hollow but home won't have mountain views as reported by NYC paper
Memo to New York City: Preston Hollow is a neighborhood in Dallas, not a separate town. There aren't any mountain ranges in North Texas. And President Bush and his wife, Laura, haven't yet purchased a home here, according to the Realtor linked to a story in Tuesday's New York Post.
Post columnist Cindy Adams wrote that the Bushes had purchased a home in "a town outside Dallas called Preston Hollow, one of the wealthiest areas in the oil-rich state of Texas. Houses come with horse stables, lake views, mountain views, golf club views."
Dallas Realtor Allie Beth Allman, who runs high-end Allie Beth Allman & Associates, said the report was false and that the Post never contacted her for comment. But she did acknowledge that she has shown the Bushes several properties "in areas you would suspect," adding that they are "not far enough along" in their house hunting to make a decision.
