Sunnyside...thanks again for your comments and tips on using Zillow...I now know so much about the site that I am going to be very cautious and skeptical about the reports and data. For example...the demographic profile is totally useless...very minimal information and missing data that I need to an investment decision. You are not likely to see me on here again.

It's always nice to see a new face. I like loopnet too! I like the public information on the Zillow home pages like past sales and basic info bed/bath, lot size etc, but the thing that I use most on Zillow is the larger graphs for neighborhoods and local areas as opposed to the individual Zestimates like this here.
They tend to be more accurate for the areas that I follow overall. If you know your area, you can take the information you already know in combination with the closed sales and the graphs to make better decisions. A combination of sites gives you lot of different types of information so I use more than one too.

Sunnyview...thanks for your helpful response...I guess you can tell I am an inexperienced Zillow user. I thought the Zillow site was the go to authority on real estate value...particularly since my bank uses the site to determine property value...I have wised up...thanks. I am a user of Loopnet.com and found that site to easier to deal with.

The reply you got earlier was from an appraiser and not an agent. It did not seem to be promotional in any way. I am also not an agent just a Zillow site user.
Zillow only posts property that they have enough information on to post. They usually have a pretty high percentage of houses listed in places like central CA with good public records information, but there are many multi-unit properties that have not been sold recently enough for Zillow to value.
There are other sites that may have different data providers than Zillow where you might be able to get information. You can try redfin.com or eppraisals.com or the chase home valuation site. They may have information for the property that you are looking for. Hope it helps.

This is a pretty useless reply...and not from Zillow...I am interested in this specific property...but as general rule I avoid RE agents who most often complicate RE transactions. This response appears to be a classic example of self-promotion...which is identified in the Zillow guidlines below.
