Property Tax Appeals

Profile picture for Mike Liffner

With many leading indicators prophesizing that we have hit the bottom of the market, how many homeowners out there have appealed their taxes? This is one area in which a realtor can help you save money. Taxes are based upon property values; if the market value for your home is lower than the town's assessment, then you should step in and get the assessment where it belongs!

Money is tight out there, stop giving your town more than you should!

I stongly urge you to review the tax appeal in your community. it may very well save you money especially if you bought around 2004-2006.

If you want to appeal your property tax assessment, contact your County Assessor's/Auditor's Office for the time when an appeal can be filed and the process for the appeal.
